Integrated healthcare — where hospitals, diagnostics, education, and telemedicine work together seamlessly — is the model Liyana Healthcare has been building since 2013.
Our ecosystem now spans 9 specialized centers, a medical college, a pharmaceutical import division, a medical oxygen plant, and a growing telemedicine platform. This interconnected model means a patient at Yanet General Hospital can receive a specialist consultation via telemedicine within hours, with lab results from our molecular diagnostics lab feeding directly into their treatment plan.
Looking ahead, Liyana is investing in electronic health records (EHR) integration across all centers. This will allow a patient's clinical history, diagnostic results, and treatment notes to follow them seamlessly — whether they visit Hawassa, Addis Ababa, or our future centers in the Oromia region.
We are also expanding our telemedicine services to reach patients in remote areas where access to specialist care has historically been limited. By connecting community health workers with our specialists via mobile platforms, we aim to extend Liyana's clinical expertise to every corner of Ethiopia.
